Helena Paver Njirić graduated in 1989 from the Faculty of Architecture at the University of Zagreb. Since 2000 runs her own office hpnj + in Zagreb, from 1992 to 2000 she was a partner in njiric+njiric arhitekti. 

Since 2013 associate professor at the Faculty of Architecture in Zagreb / 2008-13 affiliate professor at KTH Stockholm, 2010-12 she was a guest professor at TU Darmstadt, 2005 at Università di Camerino in Ascoli and  in 2001-03 at TU Berlin. 

2006-09 she was a member of Design committee, Salzburg. 

In 2004 she curated Croatian pavilion at the Biennale in Venice, and she exhibited at the Biennale in Venice in 2010 in Croatian and Hungarian Pavillion. 

2003-2005 vice-president  of Croatian Architects’Association and president of the publishing department, since 1998 member of  Croatian Chamber of Architects, since1997 licensed for Town Planning by  Ministery for Urban Planning, since 1996 authorized architect. 

She is working on projects researching and planning of public space, landscape, landscape urbanism, housing, typological investigations, reinterpretations of urban and rural vernacular, crossover of architecture and ambient art, sustainable conversion and reconstruction,  as well as the modalities of planning and construction in natural or rural context in transitional conditions. Researching in education and practice.
